What this site stores, why, and for how long. It is a short page because there is not much to store.
Last updated 21 August 2026
What is stored
- Paid rows: the X handle, the amount, an optional tagline and post link. All of it is public. That is the product.
- A visitor count: your IP address and browser string are folded into a fingerprint with a secret server key. The key never leaves the server, so the fingerprint cannot be turned back into your address.
- Two cookies: your language (en or fr) and your theme (dark or nothing). No identifier, no tracking.
What is not stored
- No account, no password, no email address. There is nothing to log into.
- No card details. Stripe handles the payment end to end and we never see the numbers.
- No advertising trackers, no third-party cookies, and nothing is sold to anybody.
For how long
- Visitor fingerprints are deleted automatically after 30 days, every night.
- The total visitor number is kept on its own, as a plain count with nothing personal attached to it.
- A paid row stays on the board until somebody pays more. That is the whole point of the board.
Who else is involved
- Stripe processes payments and keeps the billing data it needs for that.
- Supabase hosts the database, in the EU (Paris).
- Vercel hosts the site and measures audience and speed without cookies.
Removal and questions
- Want a row taken down, whether it is yours or about you? Message @shiptesapps on X and it comes off.
- Same address to ask what is held about you, or to have it erased.
